Initial review of submissions begins. Acceptances and rejections are sent. Accepted articles are assigned peer reviewers. The peer review process begins.

Spring, 2024

The peer review process continues. Articles are sent back to the authors with feedback and suggested revisions. More events with the Journal are held. Inter-departmental collaboration within the University of Richmond begins planning.

May, 2024

The 1st issue of Araneum: Richmond Journal of American & Global Affairs is published.

August, 2023

Faculty supervisors and the Editorial Board have their first official meeting. Macro goals for the journal are discussed and decided. Mission and vision statements are drafted. Roadmap development begins development. Peer reviewers are contacted and submission topics are discussed.

September, 2023

Mission and vision statements are finalized. Micro goals for the 2023/24 year are decided. Journal scope is determined and submission guidelines are drafted and completed. Website development begins. The journal marketing plan is drafted and finalized. Event plans and Budgeting begin.

October, 2023

Website development continues. The yearly budget is finalized and approved. Events are decided and schedule planning begins. Journal logo begins development. The peer review process begins development.

November, 2023

The event schedule is finalized and the first official event is held. The website is completed and social media and website go live. The submission period for the 1st issue, Spring 2024, begins.

December, 2023

the second event is held. The submission period for the 1st issue, Spring 2024, begins.
